I’m Dan. A Simcoe County Realtor with 10+ Years of Experience.
I purchased my first property almost 20 years ago at the age of 21. I was young, naive and completely unprepared for home ownership. To be honest, I didn’t even have a downpayment. Banks at the time were handing out “zero down mortgages” Yup! Even if you didn’t have money, you could get a mortgage and buy a house. I struggled to cover my mortgage, property tax and bills, but things eventually got easier and I started to realize the benefits of home ownership VS renting.
It wasn’t until I used the equity of that tiny condo to purchase my first rental property – That’s when I fully understood how powerful owning property can really be.
Things have really changed in the last 20 years and Zero Down mortgages are a thing of the past. But, that doesn’t mean that the benefits of homeownership are any less advantageous.
My goal as a Realtor is to help my clients throughout the entire home-buying process. So, whether you’re purchasing your first home (I love working with first-time buyers) or, your 10th investment property, I will always be there to help every step of the way.
