I purchased my first property almost 20 years ago at the age of 21. I was young, naive and completely unprepared for home ownership. To be honest, I didn\u2019t even have a downpayment. Banks at the time were handing out \u201czero down mortgages\u201d Yup! Even if you didn\u2019t have money, you could get a mortgage and buy a house. I struggled to cover my mortgage, property tax and bills, but things eventually got easier and I started to realize the benefits of home ownership VS renting.<\/span><\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t until I used the equity of that tiny condo to purchase my first rental property – That\u2019s when I fully understood how powerful owning property can really be.<\/span><\/p>\n

Things have really changed in the last 20 years and Zero Down mortgages are a thing of the past. But, that doesn\u2019t mean that the benefits of homeownership are any less advantageous.<\/span><\/p>\n

My goal as a Realtor is to help my clients throughout the entire home-buying process.
